He just wrapped production on The Bride for Warner Bros. with Christian Bale, Penelope Cruz and Annette Benning. He will next be seen as the lead opposite Peter Sarsgaard in September 5, which will world premiere at this year’s Venice Film Festival. John was recently seen in Celine Song’s Past Lives opposite Greta Lee, which was nominated for Best Picture at the Oscars. John was also featured in Showing Up, opposite Michelle Williams, in a reunion with Kelly Reichardt. No stranger to the small screen, Magaro most recently appeared opposite Elliot Page in the hit Netflix series The Umbrella Academy, based on the comic book series of the same name by Gerard Way. He was also seen in the Amazon series Jack Ryan alongside John Krasinski, and starred as the young male lead in Amazon’s Crisis In Six Scenes opposite Rachel Brosnahan, Miley Cyrus and Elaine May.
