Netflix has released a brand new trailer for director Richard Linklater’s Hit Man, starring and co-written with actor Glen Powell. The film, which first premiered at London Film Festival 2023, has now been confirmed to come to select UK cinemas on May 24, 2024 before streaming on June 7.
Inspired by an unbelievable true story, a strait-laced professor discovers his hidden talent as a fake hit man. He meets his match in a client who steals his heart and ignites a powder keg of deception, delight, and mixed-up identities.

Written by Linklater and Powell, Hit Man is based on the Texas Monthly Article by Skip Hollandsworth. The film also stars Adria Arjona, Austin Amelio, Retta, Sanjay Rao, Molly Bernard and Evan Holtzman.
Hit Man will be in select UK cinemas from May 24 and on Netflix in the UK on June 7, 2024.
