It’s official, a sequel to last year’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem is coming in 2026. Paramount Pictures has officially dated the highly anticipated sequel for October 9, 2026.
The as-yet-untitled sequel will once again be directed by Jeff Rowe and be produced by Seth Rogen’s Point Grey Pictures. Here’s hoping it will pick up on the post-credit scene in Mutant Mayhem which teased the arrival of legendary TMNT villain Shredder.
It is anticipated that each of the young actors from the first film will return to voice the Heroes in a Half Shell. Mutant Mayhem starred Micah Abbey, Shamon Brown, Jr., Hannibal Buress, Rose Byrne, Nicolas Cantu, John Cena, Jackie Chan, Ice Cube, Natasia Demetriou, Ayo Edebiri, Giancarlo Esposito, Post Malone, Brady Noon, Seth Rogen, Paul Rudd and Maya Rudolph.
The first film released in August 2023 and went on to gross around $180 million at the global box office based on an approximate $70 million budget. Alongside healthy reviews from critics and strong toy sales it certainly seems that the Ninja Turtles are back in business on the big screen.
