Warner Bros. has dropped our first look at upcoming horror The Watched, the directorial-debut of Ishana Night Shyamalan and produced by her legendary dad, M. Night Shyamalan. The film comes to UK cinemas on June 7, 2024.
The film is based on the novel by A.M. Shine and follows Mina (Dakota Fanning), a 28-year-old artist, who gets stranded in an expansive, untouched forest in western Ireland. When Mina finds shelter, she unknowingly becomes trapped alongside three strangers who are watched and stalked by mysterious creatures each night.

The Watched stars Dakota Fanning (Once Upon a Time in Hollywood), Georgina Campbell (Barbarian), Oliver Finnegan (Creeped Out) and Olwen Fouere (The Northman). The film is produced by M. Night Shyamalan, Ashwin Rajan and Nimitt Mankad. The executive producers are Jo Homewood and Stephen Dembitzer.
Joining writer/director Shyamalan behind-the-camera are director of photography Eli Arenson (Lamb), production designer Ferdia Murphy (Lola), editor Job ter Burg (Benedetta) and costume design by Frank Gallacher (Sebastian). The music is by Abel Korzeniowski (The Nun).
New Line Cinema presents The Watched, which will be released in the UK on 7th June, 2024 by Warner Bros. Pictures.
