A Valentine’s Day was drawing to a close here in the UK, Joker: Folie à Deux director had one last romantic surprise for us. A first look at three new stills from the film and confirmation that a trailer is on its way.
Phillips has given fans new looks at both the returning Joaquin Phoenix as Arthur Fleck and his new love interest, Harley Quinn, played by Lady Gaga. The post includes a mix of colour and stylish black-and-white images teasing the sequel’s rumoured status as a musical.
in the replies to the post Phillips also confirms one crucial piece of information for the DC sequel, our first trailer is set for release in April. The news shouldn’t come as a huge surprise as the first trailer for Joker also debuted in April 2019 ahead of that film’s October release.

Joining Phoenix and Lady Gaga in Folie à Deux are Catherine Keener, Brendan Gleeson, Jacob Lofland, and Harry Lawtey. Zazie Beetz will also reprise her role as Sophie from the first film.
Joker: Folie à Deux is currently slated for an October 4, 2024 release date in cinemas.
