Are you ready for your first look at a brand new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated series? Paramount+ and Nicktoons has released a new teaser for this summer’s Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series which spins out from 2023’s box office hit Mutant Mayhem film.
In a surprise we didn’t see coming Tales is a traditional 2D animated series rather than continuing the 3D, stop motion style of the recent film. The character designs remain the same and each of the actors, Micah Abbey, Shamon Brown Jr., Nicolas Cantu and Brady Noon return to voice the Turtles. Additionally, The Bear star and recent award-winner Ayo Edebiri will return as the voice of April O’Neil.

A new synopsis for the series teases new villains and new adventures for the Heroes in Half-Shell.
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have climbed out of the sewers and onto the streets in this brand new series. This time, everyone’s favorite pizza-loving heroes are faced with new threats and team up with old allies to survive both teenage life and new villains lurking in the shadows of New York City.
From Nickelodeon Animation and Point Grey Pictures, Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is executive produced by Chris Yost (The Mandalorian, Thor: Ragnarok) and Alan Wan (Blue Eye Samurai, Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles [2012 Series]). Production is overseen for Nickelodeon by Claudia Spinelli, Senior Vice President of Big Kids Animation, and Nikki Price, Director of Development and Executive in Charge of Production.
Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will stream on Paramount+ in summer 2024.
