It’s a double-header of Star Wars news tonight. Buried in the press release on The Mandalorian and Grogu movie is news that fans have been waiting for. News on a potential second season for Ahsoka.
Little is known about where any potential second season may take the fan favourite character. The press release simply states that Star Wars legend and all round creative genius Dave Filoni is “currently developing” a second season.
Whilst the news doesn’t guarantee that a second season will happen. This is at least the first positive steps towards it. Rumours have been circulating that Disney and Lucasfilm have been keen on developing a second season following the success of the first.
The first season starred Rosario Dawson, Natasha Liu Bordizzo, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Ray Stevenson, Ivanna Sakhno, Diana Lee Inosanto, David Tennant, Lars Mikkelsen and Eman Esfandi.
