As we’ve recently detailed, Marvel is gearing up to the end of the Krakoa-era in the current X-Men comics. But now the publisher has begun to tease what comes next for the legendary mutants. With a relaunch now on the horizon for a July 2024 launch.
The news was announced with a post across the Marvel Entertainment social media channels:
For now the publisher is keeping details on new titles under wraps. Our friends over at SuperHeroHype were quick to spot that current Avengers editor Tom Brevoort shared the news. Could the long-time editor be about to take over running Marvel’s mutant community?
The news of the announcement comes ahead of what could be a very big year for the X-Men brand. With Hugh Jackman returning to the role of Wolverine for Deadpool 3 and the launch of the X-Men ’97 series on Disney+ it’s certainly a good time to be an X-fan.
