A few weeks ago, as part of Netflix’s Geeked Week, we received our first full look at Millie Bobby Brown’s upcoming fantasy epic that sees the actress contend with the might of a fierce dragon. This week, we recieved another exciting update about Princess Elodie’s fight for survival… Netflix will be bringing the film to audiences worldwide on March 8th, 2024, which, when you think about it, really isn’t that far away as 2024 looms over us.
In addition to that, to celebrate the official release date, we receieved a brand new and rather haunting poster that shows a determined Elodie staring at the monstrous dragon as it flies abover her.
It may not be our best look, but it’s actually the clearest look we’ve got of the dragon… so far, at leasr. As huge dragon and wyvern enthusiasts, we can’t wait to see this beast properly. It’ll also be fun to see just how Elodie intends to take down such a force of nature. The odds are certainly against her with both a dragon and the Royal Family looking to tear her down, but this princess definitely has a few tricks of her own…
Synopsis
A dutiful damsel agrees to marry a handsome prince, only to find the royal family has recruited her as a sacrifice to repay an ancient debt. Thrown into a cave with a fire-breathing dragon, she must rely on her wits and will to survive.

Based on the book by Evelyn Skye, Damsel is directed by Juan Carlos Fresnadillo and written by Dan Mazeau. The film stars Millie Bobby Brown, Robin Wright, Angela Bassett, Ray Winstone, Brooke Carter, and Shohreh Aghdashloo.
