The first trailer for Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire has officially been released, alongwith a brand new poster showcasing the colossal Titans as they prepare for a new war. The next installment in the franchise, which is looking to be the biggest yet, is set to hit our screens on April 12th, 2024.
Notice anything interesting about Kong’s arm? That’s right, it appears as though Godzilla and Kong will be getting some help for their upcoming battle. Amid the revelation that Godzilla will be evolving, it seems unfair to leave Kong out. So, to aid in his fight, the great king will receive some sort of mech arm. The trailer is full of so many treats, but we won’t discuss them now. Go and watch the trailer!
This latest entry in the Monsterverse franchise follows up the explosive showdown of Godzilla vs. Kong with an all-new cinematic adventure, pitting the almighty Kong and the fearsome Godzilla against a colossal undiscovered threat hidden within our world, challenging their very existence – and our own. Adam Wingard is back helming this next colossal blockbuster with Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry and Kaylee Hottle returning. There will also be some newcomers- Dan Stevens, Fala Chen and Rachel House have also joined the cast.
