Altitude Film has debut the official trailer for upcoming chiller The Portrait. The film, the debut feature of director Simon Ross, comes to digital platforms in the UK next month.
After her husband is devastated by a tragic accident, a devoted wife obsesses over a mysterious portrait that resembles him as he was; but when it starts to terrorise her, she must decide if it’s possessed or if she’s losing her mind.

For his feature debut, director Simon Ross has lined up a number of superb horror genre stars – Natalia Cordova-Buckley (Bates Motel), Ryan Kwanten (True Blood) and Virginia Madsen (Candyman) – for this genuinely creepy and unsettling story, written by David Griffiths (Collateral Damage), of a strange painting that seems to contain a sinister power.
The Portrait is available on digital platforms including Google, Apple TV, Sky and Amazon from December 11, 2023.
