Following an impressive debut at the Venice Film Festival, Netflix has debuted the official teaser trailer for The Killer. The film, which adapts the French graphic novel of the same name, is directed by David Fincher and stars Michael Fassbender in the lead role. The streamer has also confirmed the film will release in select UK cinemas in October before streaming on November 10, 2023.
A brief synopsis for the film teases that after a fateful near-miss an assassin (Fassbender) battles his employers, and himself, on an international manhunt he insists isn’t personal.

Written by Andrew Kevin Walker and based on the graphic novel by Alexis Nolent (a.k.a. Mantz), The Killer is directed by David Fincher. Starring alongside Michael Fassbender are Charles Parnell, Arliss Howard, Sophie Charlotte and Tilda Swinton.
