Blue Finch Film Releasing is gearing up to premiere atmospheric horror The Knocking at this month’s FrightFest here in London. Ahead of the film’s September debut on digital platforms, today we’re taking a look at the trailer for the Finnish folklore horror.
When three adult siblings return to their childhood home, where their parents were allegedly murdered many years ago, their plan is to get the house and estate ready to be sold, but they soon discover a primordial evil is trying to prevent them from doing so.

The Knocking is the directorial debut of Joonas Pajunen and Max Seeck, an international and New York Times bestselling author who has previously won Finnish Whodunnit Society’s Debut Thriller of the Year Award.
Blue Finch Film Releasing presents The Knocking on digital platforms 4 September, 2023. But if you can’t wait that long you can catch the film at FrightFest in London on August 25 and 27.
