Are you guys ready? A fourth My Hero Academia movie has officially been announced, which means we’ll be able to enjoy the characters that we love and the massive action sequences on the big screen once again. As of right now, not much is actually known about this film. Currently, this mysterious movie is simply known as My Hero Academia THE MOVIE and there is no release date. It’s early days, so we may have quite a bit of waiting to do.
However, the legend that is Kohei Horikoshi, the creator of My Hero Academia, offered an update through Shonen Jump concerning Class 1-A’s upcoming adventures…
“It’ll take place after the War from season 6, meaning that the collapsed society will be the stage this time. After having been through so much and learning so many things, who will Deku and his friends fight against this time? What will they protect?! Look forward to it.”
Feast your eyes on the brand new teaser visual below! While this fourth film will most likely be its own self-contained story, there seems to be a strong tie to All For One. The text on the right translates to “Next is [redacted] turn,” a quote used by All Might after beating All For One. Could this poster be teasing the return of the biggest advesary the heroes have ever faced? We’ll have to wait and see.
