Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem is officially out now, dudes! And what a treat it is. It’s the origin story that the fans know and love, but Mutant Mayhem is a fresh and visually awesome retelling that really gives us that “teenage” experience. To celebrate its release, Paramount Pictures has released a brand new featurette that dives into the history of the Turtles. No, we’re not talking about the story of the ooze… We’re talking about how the turtles came to be. How they entered popular culture, and where the idea of ninja turtles came from.
After years of being sheltered from the human world… The Turtle brothers set out to win the hearts of New Yorkers and be accepted as normal teenagers through heroic acts. Their new friend April O’Neil helps them take on a mysterious crime syndicate, but they soon get in over their heads when an army of mutants is unleashed upon them.
