BOOM! Studios has revealed the anticipated first look at Sirens of the City #2, the oversized second issue of the new gritty six-issue urban fantasy from the superstar creative team of writer Joanne Starer (Painkiller Jane), artist Khary Randolph (Excellence), and letterer AndWorld Design, coming to comic shops August 2023.
As the mysterious truth of Rome and his connection to Layla’s pregnancy are revealed, even the relative safety of friends and newfound shelter won’t be enough to protect her from the implications of what she carries. But being a Siren comes with its share of power, and Layla wouldn’t dare let that go to waste while in dire straits…
In our five-star review of issue #1 Neil said “Sirens of the City #1 is a must-read, right out of the gate this first issue is ticking all the boxes for a blockbuster debut. It’s tantalising, atmospheric and exciting. I can’t wait for more.”
Issue #2 features covers by series artist Khary Randolph and variant covers by highly acclaimed artists Cliff Chiang (Paper Girls), Toni Infante (We Only Find Them When They’re Dead), David Mack (Daredevil), and Dan Mora (Once & Future).
