Today, Disney+ released an exciting new trailer and key art for Lucasfilm’s Star Wars: Ahsoka. But that’s not all… They also announced that the series will kick-off on August 23th with the first two episodes. That’s right, a doube-dose of Ahsoka Tano. What a year to be a Star Wars fan.
The brand new trailer gives us plenty of new footage revolving around the complex relationship between Ahsoka and Sabine, as well as the mysterious force wielders played by Ray Stevenson (Baylan Skoll) and Ivanna Sakhno (Shin Hati). Grand Admiral Thrawn is mentioned multiple times, but no new footage is used of the Chiss mastermind- We’re hoping they keep it that way. There are a lot of moving pieces in this series and we can’t wait to see how they all come together. How is Anakin involved? What is Thrawn up to? Where is Ezra Bridger? The countdown has officially started.
Set after the fall of the Empire, Star Wars: Ahsoka follows the former Jedi Knight Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy.
Prepare yourself for an adventure across the galaxy unlike anything you’ve ever seen before. New bonds are formed and tested, new villains arise from the shadows, and old faces resurface…
Lucasfilm’s Star Wars: Ahsoka launches on August 23th with a two-episode premiere, exclusively on Disney+.
