Jennifer Garner Returning as Elektra for DEADPOOL 3
THR has exclusively revealed the the original live-action Elektra, Jennifer Garner, is returning for a role in the upcoming DEADPOOL 3.

Here’s some news we never saw coming. In an exclusive reveal from THR it has been confirmed that the legendary Jennifer Garner (Alias) will return to her role as Elektra Natchios in the upcoming Deadpool 3.
Garner first inhabited the role in 2003’s critically maligned Daredevil film starring Ben Affleck. She would go on to star in the similarly disappointingly received Elektra in 2005 though it was clear from reviews that critics enjoyed Garner in the role. Both films have gone on to achieve cult status amongst fans and Elektra stands all as one of the film female-front comic book movies.
It was on the set of the Daredevil movie where Garner and Affleck first began the romance which would lead to their 2005 marriage. The two split amicably in 2018. Confirmation of her return has added serious fuel to the fire that Affleck will also be returning.
Deadpool 3, the first in the franchise produced by Marvel Studios, is currently shooting, with Ryan Reynolds reprising his fan-favorite part of the fourth wall-breaking Merc with a Mouth. Hugh Jackman has come out of Marvel retirement to play Wolverine once again.
Little is known about the story of Deadpool 3 but rumours suggest that Reynolds Merc will traverse what was known as the Fox-verse before eventually landing in the MCU. Who else might we see pop up on his adventures?
Producing Deadpool 3 are Marvel’s Kevin Feige, Levy and Reynolds. The script is by Reynolds, Levy, Paul Wernick, Rhett Reese and Zeb Wells.
