Netflix’s TUDUM event is always a treat. We’re bombarded with announcements, behind the scenes looks, clips, casting reveals and more. It’s an evening full of surprises and excitement. This year’s TUDUM is a particularly special one because we finally got a better look at Zack Snyder’s Rebel Moon, the highly anticipated epic science-fantasy event decades in the making.
While we didn’t receive a full trailer, we were given the opportunity to dive into the practical side of Snyder’s film. This brand new behind the scenes look gave us a fantastic look at the practical environments incorporated into this film, as well as the weird and wonderful costumes and characters that’ll inhabit this particuarly dark universe. On top of that, the exclusive look ended with an incredibly short clip of some Man of Steel-esque ships landing, and it is awesome.

The full details on this galactic blockbuster are still very much shrouded in mystery, but here is what we do know…
When a peaceful colony on the edge of a galaxy finds itself threatened by the armies of a tyrannical ruling force, Kora (Sofia Boutella), a mysterious stranger living among the villagers, becomes their best hope for survival. Tasked with finding trained fighters who will unite with her in making an impossible stand against the Mother World, Kora assembles a small band of warriors — outsiders, insurgents, peasants and orphans of war from different worlds who share a common need for redemption and revenge. As the shadow of an entire Realm bears down on the unlikeliest of moons, a battle over the fate of a galaxy is waged, and in the process, a new army of heroes is formed.
Are you ready to meet the cast? Rebel Moon has an incredibly stacked cast, so prepare yourselves. Snyder’s epic stars Sofia Boutella, Djimon Hounsou, Ed Skrein, Michiel Huisman, Bae Doona, Ray Fisher, Charlie Hunnam, Staz Nair, E. Duffy, Cary Elwes, Corey Stoll, Jena Malone, Fra Fee, Cleopatra Coleman, Alfonso Herrera, Stuart Martin, Sky Yang, Rhian Rees and Charlotte Maggi, and Anthony Hopkins as the voice of Jimmy, a robot knight.
