The Trek drought is over. After what feels like a long break since the series finale of Picard Thursday bring the return of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds for season two. A little later today we’ll be bringing you Neil’s review of the first 6 episodes of the season. But first we’re taking a look at some brand new stills from premiere episode “The Broken Circle”.
The episode, which streams Thursday on Paramount+, was written by co-showrunners Henry Alonso Myers and Akiva Goldsman, and directed by Chris Fisher. Here’s a sneaky peek at the synopsis:
A distress call from Lt. Noonien-Singh compels Spock to disobey orders and take the U.S.S. Enterprise and its crew into disputed space, risking renewed hostilities with the Klingons in a bid to aid their shipmate.
We’ve got a handful of brand new stills which you can check out in the gallery below:

Joining them are Jess Bush as Nurse Christine Chapel, Christina Chong as La’an Noonien-Singh, Celia Rose Gooding as Cadet Nyota Uhura, Melissa Navia as Lt.
