Disney+ has this morning confirmed more titles set to premiere exclusively on the service in the UK & Ireland in 2023, including documentary and UK Original Wagatha Christie (working title) with Coleen Rooney, and Season 2 of Marvel Studios’ Loki‘ (6 October) starring Tom Hiddleston and Sophia Di Martino. Also lined up is a third season of hit original comedy series Only Murders in the Building‘ (8 August) starring Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez. The much-anticipated FX’s Welcome to Wrexham (Season 2) will continue to follow Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds’ journey with Wrexham AFC, while FX’s critically-acclaimed original series The Bear returns to Chicago, with Carmy and his crew working to transform their grimy sandwich shop into a next-level spot.

The highly anticipated UK local original series The Full Monty (14 June) launches in June, taking place 25 years after the original British smash-hit. Additional UK Originals confirmed to join the slate for 2023 include Culprits, a darkly funny series starring Nathan Stewart Jarrett (“Generation”) and Gemma Arterton (“Funny Woman”), and “Brawn; The Impossible Formula 1® Story” (working title), a British sporting story told by Keanu Reeves. EMEA Originals include animated sci-fi anthology Kizazi Moto: Generation Fire (5 July), executive-produced by OSCAR®-winning director Peter Ramsey, from creators across Zimbabwe, Uganda, South Africa, Nigeria, Kenya and Egypt, plus Italian series Lions of Sicily, based on Stefania Auci’s bestseller The Florios of Sicily, which follows two small spice merchants in search of social redemption.

Following on from Marvel Studios’ Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania joining the platform in May, June features a unique line-up of the latest blockbusters for customers to enjoy, including James Cameron’s global phenomenon Avatar: The Way Of Water (7 June) and original movie Flamin’ Hot (9 June), directed by Eva Longoria.  Marvel Studios’ espionage thriller Secret Invasion (starring Samuel L. Jackson) will also be available to stream from 21 June.

Disney+ is available for £7.99 per month. There’s something for everyone to watch, adding new TV series, blockbuster movies and exclusive Originals throughout the year from our six key brands: Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic and Star.  Enjoy all the latest series now, from the hilarious UK Original “Extraordinary”, to award-winning hits like “Abbott Elementary” and “The Mandalorian”.
