TRANSFORMERS: RISE OF THE BEASTS Invades TikTok With Optimus Prime Text-To-Speech Feature

Transformers: Rise of the Beasts is so very close now. With just under a month to go before the 7th installment crashes onto the big screen, Paramount Pictures are bringing out the big guns to get fans well and truly hyped- And it’s working. Transformers have teamed up with TikTok to bring fans a very special text-to-speech feature. Through this brand new feature, fans will be able to get the great leader of the Autobots Optimus Prime to speak. The feature simply turns text into speech, so you can get Optimus to say anything- within reason. Here’s how it works.

How to use the Optimus Prime text-to-speech voice:

• On the Create screen, record or upload a video.
• Type in your desired text.
• Tap the Text-to-Speech button.
• Once the Text-to-Speech panel appears, tap the Optimus Prime icon.
• Click “Next” and post!

Seeing Peter Cullen record his lines is an incredibly special honour, and it’s great to see a closer at the process. It doesn’t destroy the illusion of Optimus Prime, it strengthens it. Peter Cullen is Optimus Prime.

Returning to the action and spectacle that have captured moviegoers around the world, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts will take audiences on a ‘90s globetrotting adventure with the Autobots and introduce whole new breeds of Transformers – the Maximals, Predacons and Terrorcons – to the existing battle on earth between Autobots and Decepticons.

The upcoming sequel, directed by Steven Caple Jr, stars Anthony Ramos, Dominique Fishback, and Luna Lauren Velez. In addition to that, the legend that is Peter Cullen is back to voice the great Optimus Prime alongside Ron Perlman who will voice Optimus Primal, a transforming gorilla and leader of the Maximals.

The cast also includes Peter Dinklage (Scourge), Liza Koshy (Arcee), John DiMaggio (Stratosphere), David Sobolov (Rhinox/Battletrap), Michaela Jaé Rodriguez (Nightbird), Cristo Fernández (Wheeljack), and Tobe Nwigwe (Reek), Michelle Yeoh (Airazor), and Pete Davidson (Mirage).

Transformers: Rise of the Beasts will be unleashed in UK cinemas on June 8th, 2023.
