The MTV Movie & TV Awards celebrated some of our favourite films and shows, from The Last of Us to Scream VI. But they also took a moment to look at the exciting releases that’ll be hitting the big screens imminently. Among them was Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, the 7th movie in the action-packed franchise. With just over one month to go before the Autobots return, the MTV Awards gifted us with an exclusive clip showing a rather tense stand-off between the Autobots and Maximals.
Things get off to a rocky start, but these two different factions will be forced to work together if they are to survive what’s coming…
Returning to the action and spectacle that have captured moviegoers around the world, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts will take audiences on a ‘90s globetrotting adventure with the Autobots and introduce whole new breeds of Transformers – the Maximals, Predacons and Terrorcons – to the existing battle on earth between Autobots and Decepticons.
Transformers: Rise of the Beasts will be unleashed in cinemas in the UK on June 8th, 2023.

The upcoming sequel from Paramount Pictures is directed by Steven Caple Jr and stars Anthony Ramos, Dominique Fishback, and Luna Lauren Velez. In addition to that, the legend that is Peter Cullen is back to voice the great Optimus Prime alongside Ron Perlman who will voice Optimus Primal, a transforming gorilla and leader of the Maximals.
The cast also includes Peter Dinklage (Scourge), Liza Koshy (Arcee), John DiMaggio (Stratosphere), David Sobolov (Rhinox/Battletrap), Michaela Jaé Rodriguez (Nightbird), Cristo Fernández (Wheeljack), and Tobe Nwigwe (Reek), Michelle Yeoh (Airazor), and Pete Davidson (Mirage).
