This weeks we’re celebrating the home video release of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. The first season of the show is available now on digital, DVD and Blu-ray from Paramount. A 4K UHD release of the season is set to hit stores in May.
To celebrate, we’re taking a look at two brand new clips from the bonus features on the release. In this first clip Celia Rose Gooding discusses taking on the legacy of Uhura, originally made famous by the legendary Nichelle Nichols. Check out the clip below in full:

Fans can enjoy every out-of-this-world episode from the first season of the Paramount+ original series with the collection featuring over 90 minutes of special features, including exclusive-to-home-entertainment cast and crew interviews, gag reel, deleted scenes and more.
It as also confirmed this week that season 2 will debut in June as the cast and crew get to work shooting the now formally announced season 3!
