Time to take a look at what’s coming up in this week’s brand new episode of Star Trek: Picard. The second episode of season 3, “Disengage”, arrives in the UK on Paramount+ and Prime Video on Friday, February 24. In addition to our recent interviews, today we’re taking a look at the synopsis and official stills gallery for the episode.
“Disengage” was written by Christopher Monfette & Sean Tretta and directed once again by Doug Aarniokoski. The synopsis teases a shocking discovery which may, or may not, be connected to the big reveal of Ed Speelers’ mysterious character.
Aided by Seven of Nine and the crew of the U.S.S. Titan, Picard makes a shocking discovery that will alter his life forever – and puts him on a collision course with the most cunning enemy he’s ever encountered. Meanwhile, Raffi races to track a catastrophic weapon – and collides with a familiar ally.

The series is produced by CBS Studios in association with Secret Hideout and Roddenberry Entertainment, and is distributed internationally by Paramount Global Content Distribution on Prime Video, outside of the U.S. and Canada. For series three, Alex Kurtzman, Akiva Goldsman, Terry Matalas, Patrick Stewart, Heather Kadin, Aaron Baiers, Rod Roddenberry, Trevor Roth, Doug Aarniokoski and Dylan Massin serve as executive producers. Terry Matalas serves as showrunner for season three.
Series one and two of Star Trek: Picard are currently available on Prime Video internationally in more than 200 countries and territories, and is distributed concurrently by Paramount+ in the U.S.
Season 3 premiere’s on Paramount+ in the US on February 16, 2023, the series returns to screens in the UK on Paramount+ and Prime Video on February 17.
