Yesterday brought us a blockbuster first trailer for director Andy Muschietti’s The Flash. The film, which comes to UK cinemas in June, looks set to be a huge multiversal adventure of the DC franchise. The trailer alone was full of Easter eggs and huge moments.
Now, in a brand new exclusive video, Neil is breaking down all those biggest moments from the trailer and uncovering clues to just what might be going on as Barry Allen (Ezra Miller) crashes to the Earth which calls itself home to Michael Keaton’s Batman.
Check out his full breakdown in the player below:
Along with the trailer, Warner Bros. has released a brand new, expanded synopsis for the film which teases a little more of what fans can expect:
Worlds collide in “The Flash” when Barry uses his superpowers to travel back in time in order to change the events of the past. But when his attempt to save his family inadvertently alters the future, Barry becomes trapped in a reality in which General Zod has returned, threatening annihilation, and there are no Super Heroes to turn to. That is, unless Barry can coax a very different Batman out of retirement and rescue an imprisoned Kryptonian… albeit not the one he’s looking for. Ultimately, to save the world that he is in and return to the future that he knows, Barry’s only hope is to race for his life. But will making the ultimate sacrifice be enough to reset the universe?
Starring alongside Miller in the huge ensemble cast of The Flash are rising star Sasha Calle, Michael Shannon, Ron Livingston, Maribel Verdú, Kiersey Clemons, Antje Traue and Michael Keaton.
The Flash will be released in cinemas across the UK on 16th June 2023 by Warner Bros. Pictures.
