It’s hard to believe that it’s been six months since Prey hit our screens. The film opened the door for both the Hellraiser and Alien franchises to produce films for streaming. But in the months since its release we’ve been waiting for news on a sequel.
Over the weekend the film’s star, Amber Midthunder, was interviewed by Variety and touched on behind-the-scenes talks for her to return as Comanche warrior, Naru.
“I don’t have a date for you.” teases Midthunder “This is not an announcement, but I’m not saying it is not. We talk all the time about a lot of things and that’s probably one. I’m ready” she continues. “I loved that experience. I love that movie. And I would be happy to, you know, see where else we can take it.”
