It wasn’t just Superman & Lois that The CW was looking to show off during last night’s Critics Choice Awards. The network also debuted a brand new trailer Gotham Knights. The series will premiere alongside the Man of Steel on March 14, 2023.
The latest trailer gives a little more detail on the story of the show. With Bruce Wayne dead as well as unmasked, his adopted son Turner (Oscar Morgan) is arrested for his murder. Turner finds himself imprisoned with the rest of the series main cast before going on the run. From there things get a little hazy. It seems Turner will end up using Batman’s crime fighting tools to try and clear his name.
Check out the brand new trailer in the player below:
In the wake of Bruce Wayne’s murder, his rebellious adopted son forges an unlikely alliance with the children of Batman’s enemies when they are all framed for killing the Caped Crusader. And as the city’s most wanted criminals, this renegade band of misfits must fight to clear their names. But in a Gotham with no Dark Knight to protect it, the city descends into the most dangerous it’s ever been. However, hope comes from the most unexpected of places as this team of mismatched fugitives will become its next generation of saviors.
The series stars Fallon Smythe as Harper Row, Tyler DiChiara as her brother Cullen, Olivia Rose Keegan as Duela Dent, Navia Robinson as Carrie Kelley and Oscar Morgan as Turner Hayes. The series is also confirmed to star former Supernatural star Misha Collins as Harvey Dent and Anna Lore as Stephanie Brown.
The series comes to The CW on March 14, 2023.
