Time for the first of next week’s preview from DC Comics. First up we’re taking a look at the first issue from a brand new arc in The Flash. As writer Jeremy Adams kicks off “The One Minute War” the entire Flash-family will be drawn in to this Earth-shattering conflict.
Joining Adams this month are penciller Roger Cruz, inkers Matt Banning & Wellington Dias, colourist Luis Guerrero and letter Rob Leigh. The synopsis for #790 teases the arrival of an alien armada and the meaning behind the “One Minute War” title:
As any super-speedster worth their salt will tell you, time can move pretty slow for the incredibly fast. So what happens when an entire armada of conquering speedster aliens shows up on Earth’s doorstep? The most intense battle the Earth has ever waged in the span of 60 seconds begins!
Issue #790 features main cover art by Taurin Clarke who also provides one of three variants. The remaining two variant covers come from Daniel Bayliss and Ibrahim Moustafa. You can check out all four covers below:
