Review
In this one shot issue we take an alternative look at saving the universe through the eyes of those who serve us as we explore the outer reaches of the multiverse amd take a look at the different heroes that are there to proctect their version of the universe, this threat could potentially be catastrophic. A threat like no other is back and this time it is just destruction on his mind, the Anti-Monitor is probably one of the biggest and toughest foes that any of our heroes have come up against. In this off shoot of the main Dark Crisis arc we see the more indepth challenges that The Flash, Batman, Wonder Woman and Superman must face as they take on Anti-Monitor in an epic showdown, strap yourself in for a dimensional journey like no other teamwork is the key to take down this monstrous size threat but time is running out.
The writing of this book is full on, each word written by Mark Waid illuminates the reader’s imagination perfectly describing this epic battle making you feel like you were actually there on the front line.
The artwork pops off the page with each panel using bold colours and tones that creates the perfect accompaniment to the action packed main story, Dan Jurgens and Norm Raymond combine their artistic talents to make this book explode with excitement with every panel grabbing the readers gaze
Verdict
Dark Crisis is an arc that has been building over the collected issues, at times the story does get a little fragmented with it’s different off-shoots but now we are coming towards the finale this is proving to be an unmissable series.
