With Titans preparing to wrap up the first half of season 4, our thoughts beginning to turn to the next of HBO Max’s series. On December 8, Doom Patrol will return with the first two episodes of season 4 before rolling out new episodes weekly.
Tonight, the streamer has dropped a bonkers new trailer for the fourth season. The new look expands on plenty of what we say in the NYCC teaser, particularly those musical bums! The trailer brings back Mark Sheppard as Willoughby Kipling with an ominous message about the season’s big bad.

Each member of the Doom Patrol suffered a horrible accident that gave them superhuman abilities, but also left them scarred and disfigured. Part support group, part Super Hero team, the Doom Patrol is a band of superpowered freaks who fight for a world that wants nothing to do with them. Season Four opens with the team unexpectedly traveling to the future to find an unwelcome surprise. Faced with their imminent demise, the Doom Patrol must decide once and for all which is more important: their own happiness or the fate of the world?
The series stars Brendan Fraser, Matt Bomer, Diane Guerrero, April Bowlby, Joivan Wade, Michelle Gomez, Skye Roberts, Riley Shanahan, and Matthew Zuk.
The fourth debuts with two episodes on Thursday, December 8 on HBO Max, followed by one episode weekly through January 5. An additional six new episodes from season four will be released in 2023. UK airdates are yet to be confirmed.
