December is almost here! Time has just escaped us completely. Now, December is usally just seen as the month of Christmas cheer, which it absolutely is, but December has so much more to offer. As we get ready for Christmas, put up decorations, and escape the cold, nothing quite beats an evening in with something fun to watch. With a hot drink on the side and some delicious snacks, watching something with the family is the proper way to enjoy this festive month. With that in mind… Paramount+ has come fully prepared.

Liam Gallagher Knebworth 22
In June 2022, Liam Gallagher defied all expectations and returned to Knebworth, 26 years after Oasis’ historic 1996 shows. Performing to 170,000 people across two nights in one of the first major stage shows following the pandemic. Knebworth 22 is a feature-length documentary that traces Liam back to the site of his former band’s defining performances, including all-new interviews, behind the scenes and epic concert footage. The film also goes a little bit further, seeking out stories and perspectives from collaborators and fans of different generations from around the world, transposing the emotional and social context of the 90s’ shows versus the tumult of our current era. The film is a witty, poignant portrait of humanity, affirming the power of togetherness and the potency of live performance.

Blue’s Big City Adventure
BLUE’S BIG CITY ADVENTURE follows Josh, who gets the opportunity of a lifetime to audition for Rainbow Puppy’s Broadway musical, and Blue as they skidoo to New York City where they meet new friends and discover the magic of music, dance and following one’s dreams. The entire “Blue’s Clues” crew is reunited for this special movie event, with the beloved animated friends and all three hosts–Josh, Steve and Joe–together for the first time in the Big Apple.

Snow Day
In Snow Day, siblings Hal and Natalie Brandston discover that anything is possible on a snow day when a surprise winter white out offers them the chance to break routines, take giant risks and follow their dreams. Inspired to pursue his crush, Claire Bonner, Hal enlists the help of his best friend, Lane , to help him express his feelings, and Natalie decides she must challenge her arch nemesis, the Snowplowman, if she wants to pull off the task of creating a second snow day.

No Escape
follows two deeply bonded best friends, Lana and Kitty, on the run from the UK police. Together they find refuge on a romantic yacht called The Blue, crewed by a group of enigmatic, beautiful people who sail through South East Asia living a life of endless beaches, ocean and parties. But The Blue harbours dark secrets and when greed and lust drive the crew to make some terrible moral compromises, it leads to the death of one of their own. The paradise and escape the girls thought they had found turns intoa nightmare as Lana and Kitty find themselves far from home and in terrible danger.
BAFTA Scotland award winner Abigail Lawrie (“Tin Star”) and Rhianne Barreto (“The Outlaws”) are Lana and Kitty respectively. Jay Ryan (“It Chapter Two”) joins the cast as Captain of The Blue, Aaron Winbourne, whilst Sean Keenan (“The Power of the Dog”) is Aaron’s younger, charming brother Denny. Jake Macapagal (“Metro Manila”) is Captain Rhys from the local Filipino Police force, investigating the mysteries onboard The Blue.
The Burning Girls
Set in Chapel Croft, a village haunted by a dark and turbulent history. Leading the cast is BAFTA, two time Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe award winning Samantha Morton (“The Walking Dead”, “The Serpent Queen”) as Reverend Jack Brooks, a single parent haunted by a tragedy from her previous church and who bears the onus of her husband’s death. Ruby Stokes (“Bridgerton”, “Lockwood & Co”) joins the cast as Jack’s 15-year old daughter, Flo, a teenager who marches to the beat of her own drum. Jack and Flo Brooks arrive in Chapel Croft in the hope of a fresh start however, they soon find the village rife with conspiracies and secrets, where uncovering the truth can be deadly in a community with a bloody past.

Yellowjackets Season 2
Equal parts survival epic, psychological horror storyand coming-of-age drama, Yellowjackets is the saga of a team of wildly talented high school girls soccer players who become the (un)lucky survivors of a plane crash deep in the remote northern wilderness. The series chronicles their descent from a complicated but thriving team to savage clans, while also tracking the lives they’ve attempted to piece back together nearly 25 years later, proving that the past is never really past and what began out in the wilderness is far from over. Season one also starred Ella Purnell (“Sweetbitter”), Samantha Hanratty (“SHAMELESS”), Sophie Thatcher (“Prospect”), Jasmin Savoy Brown (“The Leftovers”), Sophie Nélisse (“The BookThief”), Steven Krueger (“The Originals”) and Warren Kole (“Shades of Blue”). Liv Hewson (“Santa Clarita Diet”), Kevin Alves (“Locke & Key”) and Courtney Eaton (“Mad Max: Fury Road”) have been upped to series regulars in season two. Yellowjackets is executive produced by Lyle.
Nickerson and fellow showrunner Jonathan Lisco. Karyn Kusama also executive produced anddirected the pilot. Drew Comins of Creative Engine also serves as executive producer. Additional casting announced so far for the series include Simone Kessell (“Obi-Wan Kenobi”) as Adult Lottie Matthews and Elijah Wood (“The Lord of the Rings” trilogy) who will play Walter, a dedicated Citizen Detective who will challenge Misty in ways she won’t see coming.
Ripley
The series follows Tom Ripley (Andrew Scott), a grifter scraping by in early 1960s New York, who is hired by a wealthy man to try to convince his vagabond son, Dickie Greenleaf (Johnny Flynn), who is living a comfortable, trust-funded ex-pat life in Italy, to return home. Tom’s acceptance of the job is the first step into a complex life of deceit, fraud and murder. Dakota Fanning also stars as Marge Sherwood, an American living in Italy who suspects darker motives underlie Tom’s affability, whilst Eliot Sumner will play a friend of Dickie’s who becomes suspicious of Tom. The series is based on Patricia Highsmith’s bestselling quintet of Tom Ripley novels, from The Night Of’s Steven Zaillian. Zaillian will write and direct the entire first season of Ripley. The series is co-produced by Showtime and Endemol Shine North America in association with Entertainment 360 and Filmrights.
