Netflix has released a brand new trailer for Guillermo del Toro’s upcoming Pinocchio which will introduce audiences to a very familiar story, but here’s the twist… HIs version will have its own unique twist. The beautifully crafted film will be released in select cinemas from 25th November and on Netflix from 9th December.
Del Toro reinvents Carlo Collodi’s classic tale of the wooden marionette who is magically brought to life. It’s a story we’re all familiar with, but get ready to experience it with a bit of del Toro magic. This whimsical, stop-motion film directed by both del Toro and Mark Gustafson follows the mischievous and disobedient adventures of Pinocchio in his pursuit of a place in the world.

Directed by the visionary del Toro and Mark Gustafson, the film features an all-star voice cast. Are you ready for this? Get ready for Ewan McGregor as Cricket, David Bradley as Geppetto, and introducing Gregory Mann as Pinocchio. The film also features Finn Wolfhard, Cate Blanchett, John Turturro, Ron Perlman, Tim Blake Nelson and Burn Gorman. How did we forget Christoph Waltz and Tilda Swinton? This cast is truly stacked and we can’t wait to hear them all in action.
Pinocchio will drop on Netflix on December 9th. However… It may be worth checking with your local cinemas for an opportunity to witness del Toro’s latest triumph on the big screen. Nothing beats being comforable at home, but it would really be a shame to miss seeing this visual treat at the cinema.
