Universal Pictures has announced a UK release date for Andrew Semans critically acclaimed Resurrection. The film, which stars Rebecca Hall and Tim Roth, will come to digital platforms in the UK from December 5, 2022.
From the prolific producers behind Midsommar, Hereditary and The Witch, and directed by rising filmmaker Andrew Semans, Resurrection is a gripping psychological thriller, featuring powerhouse performances from Rebecca Hall and Tim Roth. The film received critical acclaim following its World Premiere at this year’s Sundance Film Festival, with critics praising Rebecca Hall who gives a “volatile, daring performance” (Screen International) alongside “…a magnetically loathsome Tim Roth” (Los Angeles Times).
Exploring guilt, trauma and loss, Resurrection sees Hall play ‘Margaret’, a woman who questions her safety — and sanity.

Soon, her teenage daughter, who Margaret raised by herself, will be going off to a fine university, just as Margaret had intended. Everything is under control. That is, until David returns, carrying with him the horrors of Margaret’s past.
Written and Directed by Andrew Semans (Nancy, Please), Resurrection stars Rebecca Hall, Tim Roth, Grace Kaufman and Michael Esper.
Resurrection will release digitally in the UK from December 5, 2022.
