The Man of Steel is back! In an emotional post to social media, Henry Cavill has shared a new look at himself suited up as Superman and confirmed there is more to come.
The Justice League actor dutifully waited until fans had a chance to see Black Adam before releasing his statement. With news of his cameo going up against The Rock being well-documented, Cavill clearly felt it was time to clear the air.
Teasing fans, Cavill says this new look is just a “very small taste” of what is to come! Check out his full statement in the video below:
Cavill made his debut in 2013’s Man of Steel directed by Zack Snyder. He would then return in 2016’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, the critically maligned but fan-acclaimed precursor to 2017’s Justice League. Cavill’s Superman would go on to become a headless cameo in Shazam! and a shadow in Peacemaker.
