Disney’s D23 Expo has bombarded with some amazing bits of news from across the galaxy. However, not all of it can be good news… The highly anticipated second season of Star Wars: The Bad Batch will premiere on Disney+ on January 4th, 2023. Originally, the animated series was meant to drop on the streaming site on September 28th.
Don’t be too sad though, we have plenty to keep us going. To fill the void, Disney will be dropping a brand new animated series called Tales of the Jedi which will consist of 6 episodes and will follow characters like Ahsoka Tano, a young Count Dooku, and even Yaddle. Tales of the Jedi will drop on Disney+ on October 26th.
Season Two of The Bad Batch will have 16 episodes. When the premiere date finally arrives, we’ll be treated with two back-to-back episodes. While the delay isn’t the best piece of news in the galaxy, we can at least look forward to a nice chunk of Bad Batch goodness when our favourite misfit Clones return to our screens.

Season one is available in its entirety on Disney+. Seems like a pretty good time for a rewatch before Season Two lands in the new year, don’t you think? Executive produced by Dave Filoni, The Bad Batch stars Dee Bradley Baker and Ming-Na Wen. Also executive producing are Athena Portillo, Brad Rau and Jennifer Corbett.
