Here’s some news that we bet you didn’t see coming. It looks like Warner Bros. might be lining up a “Super” surprise for fans in Hall H at San Diego Comic Con this weekend.
Deadline has published an in-depth article on what fans can expect from the first face-to-face SDCC event since before the Covid pandemic. Much of what the trade has covered is exactly what we had expected. Dwayne Johnson and Zachary Levi will both be on hand, along with unconfirmed additional cast members, to show off new footage from both Black Adam and Shazam! Fury of the Gods.
But there’s also some strong buzz in the industry – corroborated by others – that none of than Henry Cavill will be brought out as a surprise guest. At present nobody is sure what Cavill will be there to present but it seems it will be connected to the future of Superman.
Could it be a new movie announcement? An appearance in Black Adam? We’ll have to wait until Saturday to find out…
