This morning here in the UK, Warner Bros. has circulated an updated release schedule to the press. One addition to the calendar for 2023 certainly caught out eye. It appears that Batgirl will be coming to UK cinemas!
There has been rumours for some time that under the new leadership of Discovery, Warner Bros. was looking to shift the film from HBO Max to the big screen. The same has been done with Blue Beetle which is also confirmed for an August 18, 2023 release in the UK.
But now we have our first official word on when UK fans will see Leslie Grace in action. Unfortunately the list, for now, only reads “Coming Soon” but this is the closest we’ve come to seeing an official release date.
With The Flash moving from November 2022 to June 2023 it seemed natural that Batgirl would move given the inclusion of Michael Keaton as Batman. Are you excited for Batgirl to come to UK cinemas? Let us know in the comments below!
