Warner Bros. Animation has debuted our first look at the next of its DC Comics animated movies, Batman and Superman: Battle of the Super Sons. The film is the first fully CGI animated film in the long-running franchise and is set to hit digital platforms and disc in October 2022.

The film’s official synopsis reads:
Ahhhh, to be young…and charged with saving the world from impending doom! That’s the burden that 11-year-old Jonathan Kent and reluctant young sidekick Damian Wayne face in this all-new DC Animated Movie. On his birthday, Jonathan Kent learns his dad is Superman and that he has latent superpowers of his own! He also meets the legendary Dark Knight and current Boy Wonder, Damian. But when the two boys are forced to team up to protect their loved ones from a hostile alien force, will they become the Super Sons they’re destined to be?
The film stars Jack Dylan Glazer as Jonathan Kent and Jack Griffo as Damian Wayne. Also starring are Troy Baker as Batman, Travis Willingham as Superman, Laura Bailey as Lois Lane and Darin De Paul as Lex Luthor. Tom Kenny will voice both Green Arrow and Penguin whilst Zeno Robinson plays Jimmy Olsen and Melvin Masters. Nolan North takes on the voice of Jor-El, and Myrna Velasco plays both Wonder Girl and Lara.
Matt Peters directs the film from a script by Jeremy Adams. Jim Krieg produces alongside Rick Morales as supervising producer. Michael Uslan and Sam Register both executive produce.
Batman and Superman: Battle of the Super Sons will be available on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and Digital on October 18.
