LEGO Con is always a huge event for LEGO enthusiasts. We get to check out brand new sets from various different franchises, new ideas brought to life by the brightest minds in the LEGO industry, as well as other new and exciting projects. During the event, fans were given a fresh look at Disney+’s upcoming LEGO special, Star Wars: Summer Vacation.
Now, we only received a small teaser for this Original special. But, fans can tune in on Tuesday 21st June for the full trailer. So, yes… This was a trailer for the trailer.
Summer Vacation will be set after the events of The Rise of Skywalker, and will feature Rey, Finn, Poe, Rose, and Chewbacca. After their tough battle against Emperor Palpatine and his armada, the crew have decided to take a little vacation. However, the team will soon realise that other characters have tried to take vacations in the past… And they have never ended well.
As with any Star Wars LEGO project, we’ll be joined by a host of characters from all eras of Star Wars. On top of that, this special will feature various musical numbers and a cameo from Weird Al Yankovic who will be voicing a character called Vic Vankoh.
So, keep your eyes peeled for the new trailer on Tuesday. LEGO Star Wars: Summer Vacation will be available to stream on Disney+ on August 5th, 2022.
