It’s a double-header of Black Adam news today. Dwayne Johnsons has been working on reshoots for the DC Film’s project for some time and has now confirmed when fans will get a full first look.
Taking to social media the producer and star shared a new look at himself in costume. Potentially from the film’s official poster. In sharing the new look Johnson also confirmed that the film’s official trailer will release on June 8, 2022.
Originally Black Adam had been set for a July 29 release, that date will now see the release of another Johnson starring DC project, DC League of Super-Pets. Both projects shifted release as Warner Bros. looked to space out its slate following Covid-released delays in production.

Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra, Black Adam stars Dwayne Johnson, Noah Centineo, Aldis Hodge, Pierce Brosnan, Quintessa Swindell, Mo Amer, Marwan Kenzari, Bodhi Sabongui, James Cusati-Moyer, Sarah Shahi and Uli Latukefu. The film is set to arrive in cinemas October 21, 2022.
