T’Pring Visits The Enterprise In New STAR TREK: STRANGE NEW WORLDS Stills

This week, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds will journey in to new territory with an episode described as a “romantic comedy” by writer Henry Alonso Myers. The episode, called “Spock Amok”, was co-writter with Robin Wasserman and directed by Rachel Leiterman.

It’s a comedy of manners when Spock has a personal visit in the middle of Spock and Captain Pike’s crucial negotiations with an unusual alien species.

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds stars Anson Mount as Captain Pike, Rebecca Romjin as Number One and Ethan Peck as Spock. Joining them are Jess Bush as Nurse Christine Chapel, Christina Chong as La’an Noonien-Singh, Celia Rose Gooding as Cadet Nyota Uhura, Melissa Navia as Lt. Erica Ortegas, Babs Olusanmokun as Dr. M’Benga and Bruce Horak as Hemmer.

New episodes of Strange New Worlds premiere Thursdays via Paramount+ in the US. The series will premiere with the UK launch of the service on June 22, 2022.
