New MS. MARVEL TV Spot & Featurette Tease Kamala Khan’s Journey To Hero In The MCU

We’re just a couple of weeks away from the premiere of Marvel Studios’ Ms. Marvel. To celebrate the upcoming release, Marvel has dropped a new extended TV spot for the series.

The spot gives us a much better idea of what to expect from Kamal Khan’s (Iman Vellani) updated powers on the show. It’s been well documented that the character has been updated to fit the MCU, moving away from her origin tied to the Terrigen Mist. Fans worried that Kamala’s stretching abilities would be gone need not worry, her trademark giant hands are well homaged in this latest footage.

As well as the brand new spot, Marvel has also dropped new behind-the-scenes featurette dubbed “I’m a Super Hero”. The featurette starts out with the Zoom call where Iman Vellani first learns of her casting and follows her journey through the series’ production.

Iman Vellani stars as Kamala Khan aka Ms. Marvel. The cast also includes Aramis Knight, Saagar Shaikh, Rish Shah, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, Matt Lintz, Yasmeen Fletcher, Laith Nakli, Azhar Usman, Travina Springer and Nimra Bucha.

Ms. Marvel will premiere the first of six episodes via Disney+ on June 8, 2022.
