We’re a bit late to the party, but with so many figures being announced it is sometimes hard to keep up. A few weeks ago, Hot Toys announced their next figure from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Taking to social media, Hot Toys released a first look at their upcoming figure of Kate Bishop who made her debut appearance in Disney’s Hawkeye.
Now, it’s very rare to see any sort of criticism towards a product from Hot Toys. However, this particular figures seems to have raised a few eyebrows in regards to its likeness to Hailee Steinfeld. Does it look like Hailee? It’s worth noting that this is a prototype figure, which means that the figure can and will go through various stages of change. Considering how many people noticed, it’s safe to assume that the face sculpt will be the first thing that gets reworked. Well, we hope so.

The overall figure is fantastic, they absoluted nailed the aesthetic of the costume and we’re certain that Kate will come with some great accessories. Unfortunately, the current face sculpt hasn’t received the reception Hot Toys may have wanted. Thankfully, there is plenty of time to resolve this since the figure isn’t actually due until late 2023.
Kate Bishop is available to preorder from Sideshow Collectibles right now. She will cost roughly $270 (£225) and is expected to ship anytime between July 2023 and December 2023.
Hawkeye see’s Jeremy Renner returning to the role of Clint Barton. Co-starring alongside Renner in the series is Hailee Steinfeld who takes on the role of Kate Bishop. also starring are Alaqua Cox, Vera Farmiga, Fra Fee, Tony Dalton, and Zahn McClarnon. We can’t forget Florence Pugh who returns as Yelena Belova from Black Widow.
