Over the weekend Warner Bros. has debuted our first look at upcoming conspiracy thriller Don’t Worry Darling from producer-director Olivia Wilde.
Speaking at last week’s CinemaCon event, Wilde offered a preview of the film saying “Imagine a life where you could have anything you ever [wanted], not just the tangible things… but also the things that really matter: true love with the perfect partner, real trusted friendships. What would it take for you to give up that perfect life? What are you willing to sacrifice to do what’s right? Are you willing to dismantle the system that is designed to serve you?”
A brief synopsis also released for the film reads: A 1950s housewife (Pugh) living with her husband (Styles) in a utopian experimental community begins to worry that his glamorous company may be hiding disturbing secrets.
