Another member of the cast has fallen in to place for The CW’s Gotham Knights ahead of the pilot’s planned April production start. According to Deadline, Pacific Rim: Uprising actor Rahart Adams has joined the cast in the role of “Brody.”
Confident and charismatic, Brody’s got the brains and the looks — and he knows it. However, his entitled attitude covers his insecurity and jealousy of anyone who rivals him.
A synopsis for the proposed series reads:
In the wake of Bruce Wayne’s murder, his rebellious adopted son forges an unlikely alliance with the children of Batman’s enemies when they are all framed for killing the Caped Crusader. And as the city’s most wanted criminals, this renegade band of misfits must fight to clear their names. But in a Gotham with no Dark Knight to protect it, the city descends into the most dangerous it’s ever been. However, hope comes from the most unexpected of places as this team of mismatched fugitives will become its next generation of saviors.
It was previously confirmed that Fallon Smythe and Tyler DiChiara have joined the rest in the roles of Harper and Cullen Row. They joined the recently cast Anna Lore who will be taking on the role of Stephanie Brown, aka Spoiler. Supernatural star Misha Collins is also taking on the role of Harvey Dent, aka Two-Face, in the series.
Gotham Knights will also star Oscar Morgan (De Son Vivant), Olivia Rose Keegan (Days Of Our Lives) and Navia Robinson (Raven’s Home) as Turner Hayes, Duela Dent and Carrie Kelley.
The series is also looking to cast versions of Nightwing (Dick Grayson) and Julia Pennyworth. So expect plenty more announcements in the coming weeks.
