All week we’ve been taking a look at a series of character promos for the upcoming Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. Each of the 30 second promos has focussed on a different member of the U.S.S. Enterprise crew and comes packed with new footage from the upcoming series.
Today we’ve reached the penultimate promo and are taking a closer look at Una, aka Number One, played by Rebecca Romjin. Fans will recall that the role was originated by Majel Barrett in the original Star Trek pilot episode “The Cage.”

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds stars Anson Mount as Captain Pike, Rebecca Romjin as Number One and Ethan Peck as Spock. Joining them are Jess Bush as Nurse Christine Chapel, Christina Chong as La’an Noonien-Singh, Celia Rose Gooding as Cadet Nyota Uhura, Melissa Navia as Lt. Erica Ortegas, Babs Olusanmokun as Dr. M’Benga and Bruce Horak as Hemmer.
The series premieres on Paramount+ in the US on May 5, 2022. We’re still awaiting confirmation of when and where the series will air in international markets.
