Mighty Morphin #14 is published by BOOM! Studios, written by Ryan Parrott, illustrated by Marco Renna, coloured Walter Baiamonte and lettered by Ed Dukeshire.

Print copies of Mighty Moprinh #14 will be available on December 8, 2021, exclusively at local comic book shops or at the BOOM! Studios webstore. Digital copies will be available to download from content providers like comiXology, iBooks, Google Play, and Kindle.

    Synopsis

With the destruction of Zordon’s tube, the Mighty Morphin team seeks new allies to help them in the Eltarian War. But with Lord Zedd at their back and the Eltarian Supreme Leader gathering his forces to launch a massive attack on the Earth, can the Rangers survive being surrounded on all sides?

    Review

BOOM! Studios comic event of the year continues as The Eltarian War arc heats up to the next level. Earth as we know it is under threat as Supreme Commander Zartus gathers his troops and takes his throne as Earth’s new ruler. Even more worrying, he’s prepared to unleash his troops if he feels a resistance is mounting.

The Power Rangers desperately try to bring back Zordon to take command and lead them forward but it’s not proving an easy task. As time runs out to save Earth an unlikely alliance looks like it’s about to be formed, but for what reason? I’m not convinced this is what the Rangers need as they team up with Goldar and Zedd’s former allies. As the Rangers struggle to find the answers to how they can save the world as they know it, a trusty ally appears and puts hope into readers hearts.

Once again Ryan Parrott takes me back into the Power Rangers multiverse with his expertly written words. Each month Parrot has been gripped from the first page right through to the end. I have been waiting for this event to kick it in to high hear and far I have definitely not been let down by what BOOM! Studios has to offer.

The illustrations from Marco Renna have again blown me away, each and every issue they take my breathe away and just when I think he’s hit his best he seems to get better as the issues pass. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, this is the perfect creative team to take the Eltarian War forward.

    Verdict

As a huge fan of the Rangers comics the Eltarian War is the comic event I have been waiting for and so far I haven’t been let down. I am literally at the edge of my seat reading the issues, I can not wait to see what is going to happen next, one things for sure it’s going to be epic.
