The Suicide Squad director James Gunn has taken to social media to share some brand new Peacemaker content today. Alongside confirmation that the series will begin streaming on HBO Max on January 13, Gunn has shared both a new poster and trailer for the series.
The trailer teases much more of the dynamic between John Cena’s character and newcomers Freddie Stroma as Adrian Chase/Vigilante, Danielle Brooks as Leota Adebayo and Chukwudi Iwuji as Clemson Murn. Also returning from The Suicide Squad for the show are Jennifer Holland and Steve Agee.

Peacemaker, written and produced by James Gunn, stars John Cena, Steve Agee, Danielle Brooks, Robert Patrick, Jennifer Holland, Chris Conrad, Chukwudi Iwuji, Lochlyn Munro, Annie Chang and Christopher Heyerdahl. The series will debut on HBO Max on January 13, 2022 and will consist of eight episode.
