This is the news that we have been desperately waiting for. We knew that Dune was going to be a big hit, just look at the numbers, but there was a small part of us that feared the worst. What if Dune doesn’t get a sequel? Imagine the spectacular build up and insane world building, only for it to go… nowhere. But alas, we don’t have to worry about that anymore.
This evening, Dune: Part II was officially announced which means we will be able to see where Paul goes next on his journey through the rough terrain of Arrakis. The news was shared on social media via Warner Bros, Legendary Pictures and even Paul Atreides himself, Timothée Chalamet. To celebrate the announcement we got a title card for Dune‘s sequel.

Now all we have to do is wait for a release date. After watching Dune on the big screen (where it should be watched) it’s incredibly hard to remain patient. We really want to see what happens next and we want to see what Denis Villeneuve throws at us next.
